Duane E. Jados, 59, of Bettsville, OH passed away on September 2, 2022 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, OH. He was born on December 17, 1962 in Manistee, MI the son of Floyd and Barbara (Helminiak) Jados. He was a 1981 graduate of Manistee High School. Duane served in the US Army after high school. He married Cheryl Blausey on September 12, 2003 and she survives. Duane was a truck driver for twenty-seven years. He was currently working at ALKON as a Lead Operator.
Duane enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his granddaughters. He also like to woodwork in his shop and listen to Polish music.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Jados, Bettsville, OH; children, Edward Jados, Detroit, MI, Brian Havens, Charlotte, NC, Ashly (Ryan) Savage-Nall, New Franklin, OH, Heather (Kaleb Oliver) Toller, Grand Rapids, OH and Chelsea (Ira Faith) Endriano-Till, Fostoria, OH; parents, Floyd and Barbara Jados and brother, Daniel (Donna) Jados both of Manistee, MI; granddaughters, Nevaeh and Myah Oliver.
Visitation: Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH. A celebration of life will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
