Donald Robert Wise

Donald Robert Wise, 68, of Fremont, OH died Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at his home. He was born August 15, 1945 in Fremont, the son of Robert and Rita (Heschel) Wise. He was a 1963 graduate of St. Joseph High School.

Donald served in the U.S. Navy January 6, 1966 to October 10, 1969 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.

Donald worked as an Electronic Technician at Motorola for many years. He then worked in the Maintenance Department at Heidelberg University in Tiffin, OH. Donald was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of the VFW and Eagles in Fremont. He was a hard working man and loved Cushman scooters, camping and being outdoors working in his yard.

Donald is survived by his brother, David Wise, Fremont, OH; sister, Patricia (Donald) Binting and niece, Cynthia Cross, both of Sandusky, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
