Dianne J. Laird

Dianne J. Laird, 77, of Fremont, OH passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Valley View Health Campus.  She was born on September 11, 1945 in Fremont to Carl and Ruth (Rathfelder) Nighswander.  She was a 1963 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and attended the Fremont Beauty School.  Dianne married Glendon “Bud” Laird on October 5, 1963 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  She was a hairdresser and manager of the Beaute Craft until she retired in 2006.  She had previously worked at Osterman’s and the Gift Horse.  Dianne was a homemaker and caregiver to the elderly.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Dianne is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Glendon “Bud” Laird, Fremont, OH; children, Tracy (Kathy)Laird, Clyde and Troy (Victoria) Laird, Attica; grandchildren, Trenton (Lauren) Laird, Toni Laird, T.J. Crystal) Laird, Fremont and Paul (Whitney) Lockwood, Crawfordville, FL and step grandchildren, Mac and Cam Cordle; great-grandsons, Joshua and Luke Laird, Beau and Bella Lockwood; sister, Carol (Bill) Raney, Fremont.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Nighswander.

A Memorial Service: January 14, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Legacy Church, 2 S Main St, Attica, OH 44807.
