Debra Kaye Trehan, 62, of Fremont, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday February 8, 2025. She was born on November 10, 1962 in Willard, Ohio to Donald Baker and Delores (DeWitt) Batesole. She attended school in Plymouth, Ohio. Deb married her best friend Richard Trehan on December 31, 1985 and he survives.
Deb was an amazing and loving wife, mother, fur mom, mimi, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. She loved spending time with her family and loved her fur babies Reese, Snickers, and Daisy. Deb never knew a stranger and loved to meet and have conversations wherever she went. Whether it was at work at Chuds Bar and Grille or meeting new friends at the groomers for her fur babies or getting her hair done. She will be so incredibly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Deb is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years, Richard Trehan; her children, Melisa (Phillip) Bernard, Fremont, OH, and Cory Trehan, Toledo, OH; grandson, Aiden Bernard; sister, Darnell (Jeff Tester) Patynko, Clyde, OH, nephews Evan and Bryson Patynko, Clyde, OH; mother, Delores Batesole, Fremont, OH; and several cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father Donald Baker, step-mother Cora Baker, and grandmother Minnie DeWitt.
It was Deb’s wish to not have any services.
For her tremendous love of animals, memorials can be made in Deb’s honor to the Sandusky County Dog Warden or the Sandusky County Humane Society.
