David P. Sanders, Sr

David “Butch” P. Sanders, Sr., 70, of Clyde, OH passed away on July 19, 2022 at his home.  He was born on July 19, 1952 in Norwalk, OH the son of James and Beulah (Benner) Sanders.  Butch worked at Kent Sporting Goods in New London, OH and then Mayflower in Norwalk, OH until he retired.  Butch enjoyed hiking, disc golf, softball and hunting for arrowheads.  He loved to help people, spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed life.

Butch is survived by his son, David (Liz) Sanders, Lindsey, OH; siblings, Joyce Fallet, Columbus, Diane Skiver, Norwalk, Linda (Oscar) Hayes, Vermillion; best friend, Larry Hale, Clarksfield, OH; grandchildren, Gage and Leilyn Sanders and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Eugene Benner, James Sanders, Robert Sanders, Katherine Jensen, Carol Emerick and Sandra Ward.

Dave’s wish is to have no services.
