David Allen Meek

David Allen Meek, 66, of Fremont, OH passed away on November 10, 2023 at his home.  He was born on September 25, 1957 the son of Richard L. and Anna Marie (Lauer) Meek.  Dave was a 1975 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Dave was currently a fork lift operator at Penske Logistics in Clyde, OH where he has been employed for the past thirteen years.  Prior to Penske, Dave worked for his family business, Fremont Laundry.

Dave is survived by his daughter, Sonya Denny, Pickerington, OH; grandson, Landen Denny; siblings, Steven (Nancy) Meek, Galloway, OH, Cynthia (Dennis) Shearon, Fremont, Richard B. Meek, Troy, OH and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

Private burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice.
