David L. Lersch

David L. Lersch, 79, of Fremont, OH passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania, OH. He was born on March 22, 1938 in Mansfield, OH to Harold H. and Kathryn V. (Kimes) Lersch. He was a 1956 graduate of Mansfield High School.

David served in the U.S. Air Force from June 15, 1956 to June 14, 1960 and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and the Air Force Longevity Service Award.

David was a Master Carpenter and Resident Engineer and retired in 2010. He enjoyed woodworking and genealogy.

David is survived by his children, Pamela Marie (Rodney) Bland, Delphos, OH and Steven Allen (Tina) Lersch Nelson, Barberton, OH; seven grandchildren; five step grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two great grandchildren.

Graveside Memorial Service: Monday, July 17, 2017, 2:00 pm at McGormley Cemetery, Fremont, OH with Military Honors provided by the American Legion and VFW.
