Curtis “Scott” S. Slaughter, 53, of Fremont, OH passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at his home. Curtis was born on January 29, 1971 to Curtis and Ivelee (Carol) Slaughter in Fremont, OH. He was a 1989 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Scott received his Associate Degree from Terra State Community College where he studied Nuclear Power. He proudly served in the United States Navy from ???
Scott worked for Davis Bessey for many years as an apprentice. He was an STNA for many years. He was a proud single father and an independent man aside from his love for “Mary Jane” 💨. He enjoyed Legos, music; especially Pink Floyd and Roger Waters. Scott was a theorist and was strategically planning for an alien apocalypse 👽.
Scott is survived by his children, Brittney (Joseph Kawka) Slaughter, Kentucky, Curtis Eugene (Liz Glanemann) Slaughter, Desaray (Kameo Jones) Slaughter, and Emily (Juan Gonzalez Jr.) Slaughter, all of Fremont, OH; eleven grandchildren; siblings, Jeff (Pam) Slaughter, Marty (Tanya) Slaughter, both of Fremont; best friend, Allen Richie and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and cat, Kasey Cat Slaughter.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
Memorials can be made in his honor to the Humane Society of Sandusky County.
