Colleen R. Tuck, formerly of Melody Drive, Fremont, OH passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky, OH.
Born in Fremont to the now deceased DeFoe and Mildred (Wagner) Grob, Colleen graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1944. She graduated from Mercy College of Northwest Ohio in 1947 with a diploma degree is nursing. She worked as an RN at Fremont Memorial Hospital until she retired in 1985. She then worked as an RN at Bethesda Care Center for ten years.
She was married to Richard Tuck on June 26, 1948, in St. Ann Rectory by Reverend Harold P. Chillcote and he preceded her in death on October 18, 1991.
Colleen was a member of St. Ann Church, St. Ann Women’s Society, Daughters of Isabella, and the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament. She was also a member of the Mercy Alumni Association, Memorial Hospital Retiree Club, and a life-time member of the International Red Cross. She served on the pastoral council at St. Ann Church and volunteered at Countryside Continuing Care Center, the Red Cross Bloodmobile, and St. Ann church and school.
Colleen is survived by two sisters: Marianne Blechinger of Fremont, OH and Constance Rigler of Colorado Springs, CO; one brother, Dennis Grob of Michigan; one daughter, Patricia Lukacs of Tampa, FL; two sons: Thomas of Charlevoix, MI and Gregory of Findlay, OH; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
