Christina L. Moreno

Christina L. Moreno, 75, of Clyde, OH passed away on December 11, 2024 at her home in Clyde, OH. She was born on May 29, 1949 in Bellevue, OH the daughter of Basilio and Virginia (Guerrero) Mariscal, Sr. She was a 1967 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Christina married Adolfo Moreno, Sr. on November 11, 1967 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and he survives. She worked as an operator at Whirlpool Corporation for twenty-five years until she retired in 2005. Christina had also worked as a nurse’s aide at Memorial Hospital.

Christina was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed going to Cedar Point, cooking and dancing. She also loved fashion and spending time with her family.

Christina is survived by her former husband, Adolfo Moreno, Sr, Port Clinton, OH; children, Adolfo (Melinda) Moreno, Jr., Fremont, Andrea (Chris) Beardman, Worthington, OH, Orlando (Jaime) Moreno, Clyde, OH and Monica (Denao Ruttino) Boda, Marion, IL; grandchildren, Christopher (Johanna), Alicia (Peter), Andrew (Kristen), Adriana (Nick), Adolfo III “JJ”, Anyssa, David (Emily), Mia (Noah), Dario and Jayse; twelve great grandchildren; brother, Leonardo (Patricia) Mariscal, Sr, Baltimore, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Esteban Mariscal Sr., Basilio Mariscal, Jr., and Daniel Mariscal.

Visitation: Monday, December 16, 2024 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 550 Smith Rd., Fremont, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont, OH.
