Cheryl R. Kearney

Cheryl R. Kearney, 49, of Fremont, OH passed away on November 29, 2022 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.  She was born on July 6, 1973 in Fremont, OH the daughter of Lamar “Skip” and Susanne “Sue” (Keller) Homler.  Cheryl was a graduate of Vanguard Vocational School.  She was a bartender at Hillside, manager at Subway and had previously worked in home health.  Cheryl enjoyed flower arranging, crafts, canning, cooking and enjoyed watching sports.  She also loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, David Kearney, Fremont; children, Kayla (Matthew) Biller, Fremont and Jacob Kearney, Greenville, OH; grandchildren, Izabella Lane, Issabella Biller and Rayden Biller; brothers, Scott (Barbara) Distel, Marblehead, Ralph “Chip” (Jeri) Distel, Gerald “Jake” (Angie) Distel and Frank “Pork” (Lisa) Distel all of Fremont; sister, Tami (Bill) Heberling of Arizona; brother-in-law, Kenneth Kearney and Billy (Telva) Kearney, Cadiz, KY; mother-in-law, Della Barnett, Piqua, OH; uncle, Joseph Keller, Fremont; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation:  Monday, December 5, 2022 from 4 to 8 p.m. Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
