Charles J. Harris

Charles J. Harris, 61, of Fremont, OH passed away on November 21, 2023 at ProMedica Bay Park Hospital in Oregon, OH.  He was born on August 3, 1962 in Abbeville, AL the son of Geraldine Harris.  He was a 1981 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. 

Charles worked at Wendy’s in Fremont for many years.  Charles was a faithful and loyal member of Ebenezer COGIC.  He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed eating good food and singing. 

Charles is survived by his sister, Margaret Harris, Haynes City, FL, special cousin, Martin Lee, good friend, Pastor CJ Burel and a host of nieces and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Harris, grandfather, Jim Henry Davis and special aunt, Annie Muriel Davis.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Ebenezer COGIC, 601 Bidwell Ave., Fremont, OH with a service to follow at 12:00 pm at the church.  Services will be officiated by Pastor CJ Burel.

Private burial will take place at Greenlawn Memory Gardens at a later date.
