Catherine Joy Warwick

Catherine Joy (Martin) Warwick, 65, of Fremont met her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 1, 1958 to the late David Sr and Patricia Martin who survives. “Joy” was a well-chosen middle name for her as that was all that she embodied. Cathy did everything “all in” with joy and abundance, and never less than that. She was the family’s self-proclaimed doctor, counselor and confidante. She loved to dance, sing, create new recipes but most of all be with family. Cathy worked for WSOS as the food manager for many years and loved serving the senior citizens in her community and anyone else who needed assistance.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Rick Warwick of 35 years; children, Tony Meza, Andrea (Brandon) Bartson, Melany (Scott) Nieset, Stoni (Stephanie) Warwick; grandchildren, Jaymn Bartson, Wesley Bartson, Kolette Bartson, Tj (Taylor) Nieset, Cody (Rachel) Nieset, Isaiah (Gabby) Warwick, Emma Clevinger , Alexander Warwick; great- granddaughter, Margot Nieset;  mother, Patricia Martin; siblings, David (Brenda) Martin Jr, Debbie (Bob) Gardner, Mike (Joy) Martin, Amy (Ted) Merrill; many nieces and nephews; bonus sisters; Judy Bailey, Bunny Robles and fur baby, Annabelle.

She is proceeded in death by her father, Rev. David L Martin Sr.

Cathy’s family would like to thank the Ohio State University James Cancer Center, especially Dr. Mary Dillhoff and the “12 team” for their exceptional care and dedication over the last 5 years.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.

Services will be Saturday, July 8, 2023, 11:30 am at Victory Church, 2051 Oak Harbor Rd, Fremont, OH 43420 with a visitation from 10:30 to 11:30 at the church.
