Carol A. Swint

Carol A. Swint, 88, of Fremont, OH passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Advanced Specialty Hospitals of Toledo.  She was born on December 5, 1933 in Toledo, the daughter of William R. and Florence M. (Youngs) Eckert.  She was a 1951 graduate of Central Catholic High School in Toledo.   Carol worked for the Sandusky County Clerk of Courts for fourteen years.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Altar Rosary Society and Blessed Sacrament of Confraternity.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society and she also volunteered at Fremont Memorial Hospital. Carol enjoyed reading, making all kinds of crafts, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her children, Scott (Annabell) Swint, Susan (Timothy) Calmes, Sharon (Ronald) Joseph and Sandra (Mark Behnfeldt) Magnuson, all of Fremont, OH; nine grandchildren, six step grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and twelve step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law, William and Beverly Eckert and step grandson, Drew Joseph.

Visitation:  Friday, December 10, 2021, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 550 Smith Rd, Fremont, OH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at the church with Fr. Chris Kardzis officiating.
