Burdette L. Kiser

Burdette L. Kiser, 93, of Fremont, OH passed away on December 31, 2024 at Bellevue Care Center. He is now at “the big bowling alley in the sky”. Burd was born on September 2, 1931 to Sardis F. And Viola E. (Lipstraw) Kiser in Fremont, OH. Burd was a 1949 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. He married Nettie Canterburry in 1993 in Lake Tahoe and she passed away on August 9, 2015.

Burd worked for Sunshine Biscuit in shipping and receiving and he retired in 1996. Burd enjoyed bowling and he was a member of the Bowling Hall of Fame in Fremont and Texas and he also travelled the U.S. in bowling tournaments. 

Burd is survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, parents and siblings.

Burial will take place at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery.
