Bruce C. Connor, 73, of Fremont, OH passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 surrounded by his family. Bruce was born on March 12, 1951 to Harold and Giulia (Depietro) Connor in Port Clinton, OH. He married Frances J. Adams on September 1, 1978 in Clyde ,OH and she survives. Bruce served in the United States Marines from September of 1971 to November of 1974 where he was a military policeman. He earned the National Defense Service Medal, Rifle Expert, Piston Marksman Badges and Good Conduct Medal.
Bruce was a member of the Victory Temple Church in Sandusky and the DAV. He was a devoted Christian and spent his time reading and studying the bible. Bruce enjoyed softball, bowling, feeding the birds and liked to grow large watermelons which he would donate after being fully grown.
Bruce is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Frances “Fran” Connor of Fremont; children, Stacey (David) Hunt of Sandusky, OH, Todd Connor of Clyde, OH; grandchildren, Brittany (Keith) Bodi of Sandusky, OH, Tori (Devan) Bath, Castalia, OH, Aliyah Hunt, Addison Connor; great-grandchildren, Dustin and Ellie Bath; siblings, Paula (James) Eaton of Puta Gorda, FL, Marco Connor of Clyde, OH, Bruno (Jenny) Connor of San Antonio, TX; many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson Jordan.
A private graveside service will take place at McGormley Cemetery in Fremont with Military Honors provided by the VFW and American Legion.
