Billy “Bill” C. Lee

Billy “Bill” Curtis Lee, 80, of Green Springs, OH passed away at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 30, 2017. He was born on August 28, 1936 in Green Springs to James Monroe and Elma Pearl (Benehoff) Lee.

Bill married Jeanne Ann Donaldson on May 4, 1957 in Angola, IN and she survives. He was a Farmer and also worked for Ken Myers Construction, retiring after many years of service. Bill was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and a member of the Eagles. He enjoyed spending time at HeavenLee Acres, the family farm where he visited the pond 3 times a day. Bill was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians fan. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his wife of sixty years, Jeanne Ann Lee, Green Springs, OH; daughter, Gwen (Michael) Dentinger, Bloomville, OH and son, Phillip Alan (Elaine) Lee Fort Seneca, OH; brother, Allen Lee and sister, Doris I. (Anthony) Koke; grandchildren, Jyl (Brian) Clouse, Nathan (Audra) Dentinger, Lauren (Jason) Kline and Justin Lee; nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dale E., Jacob R., Bernard J., Leonard, Donald and Robert E. Lee;

Visitation: Saturday, April 8, 2017, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 211 N. Broadway St., Green Springs, OH.

A Memorial Service will follow the visitation at the funeral home with Pastor Marshall Crawford officiating.
