Bill G. Hensley, 75, of Fremont, OH passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital. He was born April 1, 1944 in Greenville, TN to Logan and Anna Mae (Tittle) Hensley.
Bill married Kurtis Fritz on July 19, 1966 in Michigan. He was a machinist and toolmaker at Cal Van Tools for thirteen years. Bill loved working on bicycles and was affectionately known as “Bicycle Bill”. He enjoyed music and woodworking.
Bill is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Kurtis Hensley; children, Denise “Nicki” (David) Metz and Richard Hensley; grandson, Michael Held, all of Fremont, OH; brothers, Sam (Shirley) Hensley and Joe (Judy) Hensley both of Rogersville, TN and sister-in-law, Mildred Hensley, Port Clinton, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Gaither and Don Hensley, Patricia Benge, June Lancaster, Evelyn Rollins and Golden Rollins.
Bill’s wishes were to have no services.
