Betty Lee Camden

Betty Lee Camden, 90, of Leesburg, FL and formerly of Fremont, OH passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares, FL. She was born on June 14, 1922 in Martins Ferry, OH to Sheffield and Nellie (Mitchell) Russell.

Betty married Louis T. Camden on November 9, 1941 in Martins Ferry and he preceded her in death on May 12, 1993.

Betty was a Caregiver for twenty-five years to her paraplegic husband. She was a Homemaker and a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and AARP. She was also a Life member Fremont Eagles Auxiliary and a charter member REAC (Retired Eagles Activity Club) and a former member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose.

Betty is survived by her children, Joyce (Michael) Dolan, Fremont, OH, Kenneth A. (Dianna) Camden, Bradner, OH; sister, Rosanna Adlam, Leesburg, FL; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis T. Camden; children, Betty A. Shawberry and Louis S. Camden; five sisters and one grandchild.
