Armandina M. Salas

Armandina M. Salas, 67, of North State Route 19, Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born on November 11, 1945 in Laredo, TX, the daughter of Edubijes and Lupe (Villarreal) Orozco. She married Ronald Salas in Toledo, OH and he preceded her in death in 2000.

Armandina was a Homemaker. She enjoyed watching TV, especially the Lifetime Chanel, the Judge shows and soap operas. Armandina also enjoyed being outside working in her yard and cook outs. She loved being with her grandchildren and her dog, Sassy.

Armandina is survived by her children, Jodi Hernandez (Pete Torres) Fremont, OH, Joe Hernandez, Jr. (Diane Garcia), Bono, OH; siblings, Alfonso (Barb) Orozco of Florida and Maggie (Pete) Soto of Michigan; grandchildren, Selina and Veronica Hernandez, Raquel Martinez, Nicole, Andrea, Lupe, Helica, Joe “Baby Joe” and Eduaro Juan Rolmando “Lalo” Hernandez; nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald Salas; brother, Ed Orozco.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Ceremony to follow at 4:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.

Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice.
