Arlene B. Cleveland, 92, of Green Springs, OH passed away on January 8, 2022 at Elmwood Communities in Fremont, OH. She was born on May 18, 1929 in Fostoria, OH the daughter of Allen R. and Bessie A. (Hulings) McComb. She was a 1947 graduate of Fostoria High School. Arlene married Ted Cleveland on September 20, 1947 in Fostoria and he preceded her in death on February 14, 1998. Arlene and Ted were life-long farmers in rural Green Springs. She was a member of Old Fort Church and enjoyed cooking, housekeeping, reading, flower gardening and sewing. She wintered in Fort Pierce, Florida for over twenty years and enjoyed traveling, dancing and music. Arlene’s true passion was spending time with her family.
Arlene is survived by her children, Daniel (Teresa) Cleveland, Green Springs, Carol (Doug) Pence, Tiffin, Darlene (Mike) Adelsperger, Tiffin, Laurie (Craig) Reichert, Attica, Sandy (Joe) Gillett, Green Springs; grandchildren, Bret (Melissa) Cleveland, Brian (Karen) Cleveland, Bethany (Bruce) Hannam, Brad (Andrea) Cleveland, Brock (Sunshine) Cleveland, Lindsay (Michael) Sooy, Tyler (Jessica) Pence, Aleigh (Brad) Daniel, Laura (Chris) Magers, Steve (Jenny) Adelsperger, Kori Reichert, Kurtis (Megan) Reichert, Lauren (Scott Whitt) Gillett, MacKenzie (Mitch Wise) Gillett, Laini Gillett; step-granddaughter, Emily Gillett; sister-in-law, Joyce (Larry) Rice, Fremont and twenty-three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Cleveland; son, Dennis Cleveland; parents and step-father, Amos Graber; son-in-law, Larry Kin and an infant grandchild.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 9 to 11 am with a service to follow at Old Fort Church, 8245 Main St, Old Fort, OH with Pastor Marc Quinter will officiate.
