Angela J. Hemminger

Angela J. Hemminger, 75, of Green Springs, OH passed away on September 24, 2024 at the Landings of Westerville in Ohio. Angela was born on July 11, 1949 to Lyman and Arlene (Needham) Hemminger Sr. In Green Springs, OH. She was a 1967 graduate of Green Springs High School. Angela received her Bachelor of Psychology from Bluffton College in 1971. 

Angela was a social worker for Franklin County Children’s Services for thirty-five years. She enjoyed quilting. She was active in her church community. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. 

Angela is survived by her siblings, Lyman (Sue) Hemminger Jr., Republic, OH, Colleen (Michael) Hemminger-Drown, Johnstown, OH, Diane (Steven) Egbert, Findlay, OH; 8 nieces and nephews; 15 great nieces and nephews; and 6 great- great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, niece, Jennifer Hemminger and great niece, Elliana Diemer. 

Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 211 North Broadway St. Green Springs, OH 44836.

Private burial will take place at Green Springs Cemetery. 

Memorials can be made in her honor to a humane society of the donors choice.
