Angela Marie (Fought) Balderson

Angela Marie Balderson, 53, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2024 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, OH. She was born on November 5, 1970 in Fremont, OH to Edward and Karen (Soper) Fought. Angie was a 1990 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Angie married Robert G. Balderson on July 22, 2005 in Fremont, OH and he preceded her in death on November 30, 2021. She was currently working for the last twenty years at Auria Solutions. Angie enjoyed crafting, cross stitching, diamond painting, plastic canvas, and cheering on her husband while he played in pool league. 

Angie is survived by both her parents; brother, Bryan E. Fought, Columbus, OH; step children, Paul (Cristy) Balderson, Beltsville, OH, Kevin (Kayla) Balderson, Brandy (Darl) Cessna, Robby (Kara) Balderson, all of Kansas, OH, Candice (Dave) Balderson; aunts & uncles, Sandy (Bruce) Covert, Fremont, OH, Sara Soper, Toledo, OH, Donald Soper, Fremont, OH, Myra (Robert) Eppinger, of Arizona, Robert (Rhonda) Soper, Clyde, OH, Russ (Judy) Soper, Fremont, OH, Pat Damschroder, Fremont, OH and eleven step grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband; infant uncle, Herbert Roy Soper; uncles, Bruce Covert, Vernon Soper and aunt, Ellen Soper.

Angela was a very loving and giving person. She selflessly chose to be an organ donor, giving the gift of life to others in need.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 2 to 6 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.

Burial will take place at a later date at Four Mile House Cemetery.

Memorials can be made in Angie’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
