Amolia “Molly” L. Barnes, 69, of Fremont, OH passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 13, 1944 in Fremont, the daughter of Howard and Elnora (Krouse) Hodgkinson. She was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
Molly married Dennis S. Barnes on August 11, 1962 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fremont and he survives. She was a Machine Operator at Eaton Controls and retired after twenty-five years of service. Molly was also a Bartender at the V.F.W., American Legion and Shellukes. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries. Molly loved baking, going to Cleveland Indians games with her daughters and spending time with her grandchildren.
Molly is survived by her husband, Dennis S. Barnes, Fremont, OH; Shelley (Dave) Hoppes, Fremont, OH, Sherry (Brian) Slaymaker, Forth Worth, TX, Denise (Jack) Liddle, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, David (Erica) Cobb, Derek (Natalie) Cobb, Adam (Ashleigh) Souders, Jenna Souders, Bryce Black, Makenna Sears, Linkoln and Jackson Liddle; seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Valerie Zerman and Chuck Hodgkinson.
