Alice Rose Sylvia

Alice Rose Sylvia, 85, of Fremont, OH passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. She was born on August 30, 1936 in Fremont, the daughter of Gerald and Lorretta (Steinle) Babione.  She was a 1956 graduate of St. Joseph High School.  Alice married William “Bill” G. Sylvia on April 26, 1958 at St. Joseph Church in Fremont and he preceded her in death on December 29, 2010.  She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.  Alice enjoyed fishing, gardening and camping.

Alice is survived by her sons, Brent W. Sylvia and Bryan W. Sylvia; both of Fremont, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William G. Sylvia; daughter, Barbara Sylvia; brother, Eugene Babione and sisters, Anna Belle Shade and Dorothy Saunders.

Graveside Services: Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH.
