Alfred H. Rando, 77, of Clyde, OH passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Heritage Village, Clyde, OH. He was born on June 29, 1941 in Shamokin, PA to Alfred J. and Martha (Edwards) Rando. Alfred was a 1959 graduate of Shamokin High School in Pennsylvania.
Alfred married Carol Kramer in 1959 and she preceded him in death on September 6, 2014. He worked in maintenance for many years retiring in 2004.
Alfred is survived by his children, Alfred Glenn (Brenda) Rando, Green Springs, OH, Michael (Betty) Rando, Clyde, OH, Sherry (Jeff) Potridge, Fremont, OH, Steven (Cathy) Rando, Lindsey, OH, Tony (Dawn) Rando, Clyde, OH; siblings, Frank Richardson of Philadelphia, Peggy Bednarchik, Shamokin, PA, Linda (Bob) Paul, Nesquehoning, PA, Tom (Sue)Rando, Nashville, TN; twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren; son-in-law, Michael Huether, Fremont, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol Rando; daughter, Shirley Huether brother, Richard Rando and half-sister, Jean (John) Gilmore.
Services will be held at a later date.
Memorials can be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society or Heartland Hospice.
