Adolpho "Papo" Lopez

Adolpho “Papo” Lopez, 72, of Fremont, OH went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 18, 2024 at Bethesda Care Center.  He was born on October 23, 1951 in Delphos, OH the son of Juan and Virginia (Garza) Lopez.   Adolpho married Maria Obregon on November 18, 1970 and she passed away on July 12, 1982.

Adolpho worked at Crescent Manufacturing as a machine operator for thirty years until he retired in 2017.  Adolpho had an amazing love for the Lord and was member of Victory Temple in Sandusky where he sang in the choir and attended Bible Study.  He also loved to spend time with his family.  Adolpho enjoyed fishing, going to the lake, traveling and flea markets.

Adolpho is survived by his daughter, Rachel (Michael) Jackson, Fremont; siblings, Carmen Cruz, Carolina (Armando) Uribe, Anita (John) Cantu, Benito (Alvina) Lopez all of Fremont, Louisa Uribe, Sulphur Springs, FL; grandchildren, Alora, Amelia and Alyssa Jackson; great-grandchildren, Aliana Lopez, Aniya and Bryson Whatley, Azraella and Annalaya Allen and Mason Minier.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Maria Lopez; brother, Daniel Lopez; brothers-in-law, Ruben Cruz and Alfredo Uribe.

Visitation: Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, March 22, 2024 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial: Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont, OH.
